Physio Healthcare are dedicated to ensure comfort and convenience based on our clients needs is at the heart of ethos. With this in mind we pride ourselves in tailoring an assessment and treatment plan with you in mind and therefore focus on mobile physiotherapy homevisits both within your home or at our gym. This aids normal/functional success as it often will replicate usually daily activities and can play a lead role in rehabilitation.

Treatment

At Physio Healthcare we believe in hands-on treatment where required. We aim to treat your pain, tension, soreness or stiffness using a variety of techniques and are skilled in manipulative physiotherapy and soft tissue techniques. We work closely with our sports massage therapists to ensure the best physical treatment for you. We also use various treatments such as acupuncture, muscle stimulators, ultrasound, shockwave, taping and others to improve your symptoms and get you back on the road to recovery.

Restore

We aim to restore your form, function, range of movement, muscle strength, mobility, flexibility, core strength, muscle power, agility, gait or posture amongst others to ensure we achieve the best possible outcome for your symptoms. Alongside hands-on therapy we will prescribe exercises, offer sound advice on lifestyle and work modifications, adapt gym programmes or training programmes to get the best recovery for our patients. We will do this with you in mind and following best practice and always remain evidence-based, keeping up to date with the latest research and opinion. Our aim is 100% improvement of symptoms where possible rather than getting to 75% and leaving you to your own devices.

Perform

We believe in not just restoring but getting our patients to perform better than before their injury. Whether that is self-management strategies for long-standing low back pain, improving sports performance or being able to balance on one leg for longer our physiotherapists believe not just in partial recovery and discharge but in complete 100% recovery and beyond. With our in-house sports massage therapy and personal training teams we are able to offer the next step in your recovery and are dedicated to our patient’s needs and long term goals. The journey does not have to stop when the symptoms stop.

Prevent

Injury prevention is central to what we do. Our ethos of 100%+ improvement also means our patients having an understanding of injury risk, strategies for injury prevention and access to injury screening, check-ups, sports massage therapy and personal training packages. It is strange to think that your physiotherapist's goal is not to have to see you again for the same problem in the future, but we are aware that recurrences can and do happen. We want to enable you to prevent future injury by identifying and helping you manage your risk factors. A penny of prevention is worth a pound of treatment.
